(BL560) This full size spigot is designed for barrels up to 55 gallons in capacity. It is approximately 9 inches long. And requires a hole approximately 1-1/4 in diameter. We recommend using a scrap piece of wood for testing hole size. Spigot has a mark to indicate how far in it should go into the hole. It is always best to put in a spigot when the barrel is dry. A snug push by hand is sufficient, then allow the barrel to swell tightly around it by soaking in water. This particular spigot also features a re-tightening wedge and a replaceable cork liner for long life.
