DESCRIPTION
[FP210] This Steam Juicer is ideal for extracting juices from both fruits or vegetables. It`s very simple to use. Just fill the bottom boiling pot with water. Put your produce in the peferated steamer insert, and bring to a boil on the stove. The steam will burst the produce and release their juices into the center collection container. You can then draw off the juice through the spout. Made of polished stainless steel. Comes with complete directions. Shipped immediately from our stock.

I was looking at purchasing your steam juicer, however, I need to know if you can steam fruit and then use the juice to make wine?

Yes, you may steam the juice from the fruit and then use the juice to make wine. Just be sure to keep track of how many pounds of fruit you used to make the juice because wine recipes will call for pounds of fruit, not juice.

What are the pros and cons of using a steam juicer and perhaps using the pulp in a fermentation bag during fermentation after using the juicer?

Using a steam juicer is certainly okay to use to prepare your fruit for winemaking. The drawbacks are that a steam juicer can take a long time to juice the amount of fruit needed for a 5 gallon batch. Also, the steam juicer takes a some of the aroma out of the fruit. If you use the left over pulp, this should reduce that drawback.
