2 Row Brewer's Malt: Briess / 1 lb.
- Most popular base malt used in home brewing.
- Has a less husky flavor than American 6-Row malts.
- Adds adds a maltier flavor, but has less diastatic power.

- Used by most larger American breweries.
- Slightly more husky and less sweet in flavor than 2 Row.

- The primary base malt used in many wheat beers.

- Adds a creamy body with some rich, wheat flour flavors.

- Good choice for Czech or German Pilsner.

- The flavor is definitely rye, but with a bit of crisp spice.
- Can be found in anything from a pale ale to a porter.
- Also used to produce rye beers such as Roggen Bier.
