We usually order the California Connoisseur Merlot, but decided to try something different. We LOVE the Merlot. This time we tried the Pinot Noir. Again fantastic choice. We don't believe you can go wrong on any of the California Connoisseur choices. We may try some kind of a white next.

""Can't make it fast enough!"" Review by JoeC. (Posted on 11/26/13)

My family and friends rave about this Pinot Noir! My wife favored a particular Spatlese from Germany and did not really care for red wines. She drinks this red wine like it's going out of style! Everyone that has tasted it, asks me to make more. One of my friend said,"I need to make you labels!", so she did! The review stops here cause I have to go make a new batch! Highly Recommended!!!

"Surprisingly good" Review by BPleasant (Posted on 4/4/13)

I made this wine without the sulfites, and it was the strongest, fastest ferment I've ever seen. Surprisingly good to drink young, everybody who tries it wants more.

"Very nice wine, goes with anything" Review by TerryG (Posted on 1/11/13)

Nice moderate flavor, just enough to taste all complex flavors, but not as strong as a cabernet. I have made this wine several times. It is always a favorite of my family and friends. I cannot see myself stopping production of this Pinot Noir.

"I love wine as much as I enjoy making it." Review by The Hammer (Posted on 5/15/12)

Home winemaking has been an on and off hobby of mine since graduate school where making plenty of wine I could say was my own (on the cheap) allowed me an greatly appreciated level of appreciation of others. In an effort to try and make a wine-making project as group activity that would bring together a diverse group of people on a single focus, I feelI really lucked out with this must and ingredients. The brining in of other people to take part in the process and get it done was better than I could have imagined. Simple, engaging and full of fun production of a multitude of pinot noir bottles that we each were proud to bring home and share with others was important. In a way, I could play it conservative and go with the Pinot Noir again but I have full confidence that must iin the california lines and othe of the kits in this series would end up with an equally excellent batch of bottles. It I had to give advice on where to start for the novice, I would suggest this must. My satisfaction with this particular pinot noir kit would already make me assume that the other Claifornia Connoisseur kits are of equal caliber.
