[GN255] This roast of Caramel malt works extremely well for making red ales and holiday beers. This is because of the heavy, red hues it brings to these beers, but the Caramel 80°L Malt can also be found in many Brown Ale, Porter and Stout beer recipes. It adds a rich, caramel flavor to the beer with hints of burnt sugar and rasins. Caramel 80°L malt will also add body to your homebrew, which in turn will increase the beers head or foam.
