(FLT210) This is the nicest manual filtering system we have seen. And, it is perfect for someone filtering 5 or 10 gallons at a time. It will filter any wine to a remarkable brilliance and beauty. Has a large 3 gallon holding tank with pressurizing pump. The filter pad assembly utilizes two 9" diameter filter pads. We recommend fining your wine with Bentonite or similar before filtration, especially if you intent to use the 0.5 micron fine pads. Comes with complete and detailed directions. Shipped immediately from our stock. Pads not included.

Q Marty (Boynton Beach, FL)
I'd like to inquire about Pressurized Filter System. Is this product designed so that I can filter my wine right into a bottle?
You can filter directly into the wine bottles, but it is not very practical. It is difficult to stop the flow of wine when moving the hose from bottle to bottle. It is much more convenient to filter the wine into another fermenter, then bottle from there.
Q Colton (Bent, NM)
Can you tell me what the Pressurized Filter System is made from?
The filter head of the Pressurized Filter System is made of ABS plastic and the holding tank is made from polyethylene plastic. Both of these materials are food grade plastic.
Customer Reviews"So far so good" Review by Capt. Carmelo (Posted on 12/24/15)
Just did 10 gallons of wine in short order. I used a medium filter. I am sure I could have done another 10 gallons. My only problem is trying to figure out how to time it so I don't lose much wine between bottles. But I think that will get better with practice."Don't give up." Review by dkk (Posted on 3/26/15)
The first time I used it, I had to call my husband for help. I simply did not have enough hands. After getting through a dozen bottles, I had the hang of it and was able to finish alone. Follow the directions carefully. The wine will look fantastic! I wish I had bought it sooner."Works great!...but I should have practiced with water first!" Review by JWebb (Posted on 2/23/15)
The second time I used this in my home winery I had amazing results! I learned a lot from my first experience, though. Assemble it carefully the first time you use it. Be patient when running water (and then wine) through it. You can create a tremendous amount of pressure with this system and the o-rings on the filter pack can dislodge. Then you have a very instense spray of wine leaking all over the place! Pump it just enough to keep your wine trickling into a carboy. Heed the instructions to place the filter pack over some kind of "drip tray" in case you do create a small leak. Once you have the hang of how it works, enjoy your glistening wine!"great product" Review by jlynn (Posted on 11/19/14)
works great! easy to use. was faster than I expected."Excellent Product" Review by Thom (Posted on 11/19/12)
I used my filter the day after it arrived and the difference it made in the appearance of the wine is remarkable. I will filter all my wine from now on."Love It" Review by PJHHobbit (Posted on 11/8/12)
I bought one of these 20 years ago and still use it and think it is great for 5 to 10 gallon batches. Use it for every batch of wine I make and always will."works well but some parts are flimsy" Review by Jefh (Posted on 12/5/11)
The filter works well for larger batches, however the plastic Y in the hose broke while cleaning after use. I replaced it with a metal Y which is much sturdier. At this price cheap parts are inexcusable.
