Selecting a wine filter that's right for you is important. Choose a wine filter that's to small and you end up switching out wine filter pads to often, select one that's to big and you end up wasting filter pads. For a few dollars, you can purchase a wine filter that can process 5 gallons of wine in 30 or 45 minutes. For more money you can purchase a filter that can process 1-1/2 gallons of wine per minute. Also, you can purchase a wine filter that's somewhere in-between. Another consideration when determining which wine filter to buy is growth. Maybe the wine filter is great for amount of wine you make now, but will it be sufficient 3 year from now? All of these things should be taken into consideration when selecting the wine filter that's right for you.
